Heyy guys! Been away from the laptop and closer to my phone and family. Hahaha. Now is the holdidays and I have more free time than the exam period~ hahaha. I'm not working cause I have quite a tight schedule. I'm on my way to sch to do project. Oh, yesterday was Christmas! Hohohoho. Merry Xmas. Since I wasnt working for the past few days, I missed a christmas party at work. Damn! I was looking forward to it since June? Aww man! Well, maybe its not my year.. Seriously, this year have been like shit, in a way, even though there are awesome times in it. Yeah, I know right.. No matter! I am planning to end the year witha blast!! Hehehehe :D:D

Yesterday was christmas right? Oh yea.. My sister, bro-IL and nephew came to visit! Wahahaha. They came early at 10am. I just woke up then. That was partly due to the noise my mom was making when she heard my sister at the door. Hahahah. I was awaken by that. So I got up and opened the door as my mom got dressed properly. After they came in, I went back to sleeping position. Oh, FYI, my brothers and I sleep on mattresses in the living room. And guess what happened. My sister asked my nephew to pinch me and pluck out my leg hair, to wake me up. The hair part was unpleasant. My nephew, Aqil, has a strong grip. Yeap.. It was torture! So I got up and bathed. Then we ate nasi lemak. Then played with the keyboard. Then had lunch. Me and Aqil played congkak, then I played fifa13 with my bro-IL, abg Salleh. Hohoho. Two ametuers playing fifa is like, full of suspense. I won, winning 2 matches and my bro winning 1. 2 games ended with a pen, one of which was goaless. Played with Aqil again until he was knocked out and then everyone fell aslp except for me and abg Salleh. Hahaha. The moment I saw Aqil was sleeping with my sis, I was like Awwww~~ if I had a moment like that with a girl or when I see my future family like that, my heart would melt :') it was about 2pm then. Then my lil bro came back from his camp meeting. Really? Meeting on xmas? Pfft.. Not long later, my sister had to go.. After they left, I went back to sleep. Teeheee. WOOHOOOOO!! COMMON TESTS ARE OVER GUYS!!! hahahaha well that's the end of the first quarter of the semester~ There's more to come for sure! hmm.. there's so much that has happened since i last blogged. Way too many! hehehehe. so i can't really depict what happened for all the days that had past. But i can tell you stories.. those that are interesting, weird, happy, sad and more! for starters, let's rewind all the way to 20 Nov 2012. the day RED CAMP 9 started!! WEEEHEEEEE~~ :D:D:D:D

RED CAMP is a day camp that Ngee Ann Poly will  have every year. Its to let the students from secondary schools or ITE  come and experience and learn about our school! like each fantastic year, there will be 5 tribes to organise the campers.


CENTURIONS
These high-ranking commanders of the Roman army are responsible, capable and strong leaders. Be warned: They are not easily defeated. 

SPARTANS
They will fight to the death. Spartan warriors are also marked by their strict discipline, tribe spirit and undying loyalty to their homeland.

APACHES 
Also known as Red Indians, the Apaches are a fierce and proud tribe that command respect. But look behind the fearsome face paint and you’ll find a tribe that is bound together by a strong sense of unity and loyalty.

VIKINGS
Don’t let the braids fool you – they are designed to keep the hair off their faces in deadly hand-to-hand combat! Ferocious masters of the sea, the Vikings are equally vicious on land. 

NINJAS
Extremely agile with moves that are almost too quick for the human eye to follow, the Ninjas have an otherworldly reputation. Equally skilled in both defence and attack, their ability is only matched by their fighting spirit.

I'M A NINJA!!!

heheeheeheh. NINJA POWER POWER~ hahaahha. there's so many things that happened in red camp. I'll just say whatever that comes to my mind and the parts that i find memorable and stuff. So first of all, there are the SLs! They are a bunch of awesome people who stood by me and everyone else involved in RC9. And especially the NINJAS SLs!! WOOOTS~


I've made many new friends over the 3 days of RC9!! be it SLs, volunteers, campers, lecturers.. hahahah. I've definitely had fun! going to the different schools in NP and learning new things while leading and guiding the campers. Its a great experiential learning for both the campers and I. wah, English macam bagus je. hehe. I've been waiting for so long to be leader in NP. It finally came when i was selected after going through an interview. I think what made me qualify or differentiate myself fro the others was this..

I went into the interview room in this~ ahaha. The others who were being interviewed with me did a fantastic job! i was like.. shit. They're too good. I may not make it~ but it was my suit that got me through. C'mon! i'll tell you how i answered some questions..

Qn: If you could be anything in the toilet, what would you be?
Answer: I would be the door. The freaking door. why? cause I would be able to protect them when they are in NP, give them comfort, like when they are doing their business in the toilet, and there is door to cover them. who would want to poo while being watched? EXACTLY. so when the campers are comfortable, they are able to be themselves and enjoy the camp!

Qn: In NP, what facilities would you promote to the campers?
Answer: The attic. Its an awesome place to study and hangout. you can eat there, there's air-con, its big, and there's bean bags. BEAN BAGS. Oh, and the ATRIUM TOILET. Have you seen how grand the toilet is? Its like a hotel in NP! \

Yeap. that was it. People wanted to be the toilet to flush the shits and the soap to clean everything up. I wanted to be the door. People wanted to promote library, sports hall, food places, I wanted to promote the toilet. and thats how I passed the interview. hahaahha :)

So back to the story.. learnt new things, made new friends and ate delicious food! Pastamania, spaghetti, chicken rice. WHADDUP. brownies, cakes. hahah a the food are awesome!! Well, I've more pictures in hand, but these are the ones that speaks the most.. I have one more thing to share for RC9, the concert and saying farewell to the campers..The concert, i had to say, it was a job well done! not only to the performers, but to the SLs and campers. They did their best to be high, remain high and made the concert a memorable one. Firstly, the host was Roslyn, one attractive mama! lols. at least from far.. hahahah. then there was Tay Kaiwei, a woman who sings with soul and clarity. Fuck the song she sang made me cry! It reminded me of Elaine. Fuck her too. Titanium really hit me hard T.T Then there was the ukelele movement. They sang with awesomeness! I wish I could play the guitar or a ukelele. If not like a pro, at least the basic chords and songs.. heh.Then, Sam Willows was next. I cant rmb what he sang, but all of the performers were great~ :) And finally.. SEZAIRI SEZALI!!! hahahahaha. His voice is too good la! For Singaporean or Asian. He can sound like an ang moh if he wanted to. Swag siol. hahaha. When the concert started, they campers waved their hands, swayed and sang along. They moved me by doing so.. all the way until the end. :')

Finally, when it was time to bid farewell to the campers, i was sent outside, near the street soccer court. i was like.. WAIT, I BELONG TO THE CONVENTION CENTRE. THEY WANT ME HERE. but.. I had to be a responsible SL. so i went out. And like any other MAT, I sat under the tree. Haikal was stationed near me. While I made the campers laugh and said bye to them, Haikal kept their spirits up by cheering with them.

"SPARTANS, HENTAK KAKI CEPAT HENTAK!! LEFT, LEFT, LEFT RIGHT LEFT.." HAHAHHAHA. His favourite cheer! MINE TOO!! hahahahah. I was like emo, cause i didnt get to spend the last few moments with my Ninjas :/ I did saw a few of them though! They took pictures with me. cause Ninja was the last grp t be released, I only saw them in the last 15min or more. That was when they took pictures with me~ Like all the way til i was called back to the CC. I saw Sarah, and i asked her where XueYi was. She was at CC, taking the shuttle bus to clementi. NUUUUUUU!!!!! damnit. but my night wasn't ruined, cause i made memories with campers, be it Ninjas or any other tribes. I was known as the Mat Ninja Who Can't Be Moved From The Tree. One of the vikings minah said, Malam jumaat, tak bagus duduk bawah pokok tau, ade hantu. #YOLO. hahaha.

So for RC9, I gave it my all and I have no regrets. #memories YoU aRe NoT aLoNe~ =)
